The Alliance is built on a partnership bringing together CECIMO, the European Association of the Machine Tool Industries, and its National Associations as well as VET providers, research institutes and regulatory bodies from Germany, Spain and Italy.

The partners will firstly analyse emerging technologies in the sector and build a European machine tool industry skills panorama detecting current and future (2025) entrepreneurial skills needs in four key areas, namely design, assembly, operation and maintenance.
